Tarot and Oracle Cards

Tarot and Oracle cards are an ancient divination tool that allow you to recieve messages and guidance about particular parts of your life to help provide deeper insight into your questions and challenges you may be facing at the moment.

Tarot Cards:

A Tarot deck is made up of 78 cards. The first section is numbered from 0 - 21 (22 cards) and is called the Major Arcana (Arcana meaning knowledge). Cards revealed from this section indicate the more major influences within the reading. The second section is called the Minor Arcana and is further split into 4 suits of ten cards and 4 court cards per suite.  The four suits are named differently depending on which specific Tarot deck you are using - but all relate to the same principle.  The court cards tend to represent the actual people within your life - not always, mind you! Each card has literally dozens of interpretations - and the reading can be different depending on which way up the card is laid out - if 'reversed' it means the card is upside down. It is the job of the reader to interpret the cards by not only using the laid down readings you might find in a book - but also to use their instinct and psychic ability to discover the meaning behind the reading - and of course to decide which, of the many interpretations, is appropriate in each case. One final point - there is only one of each card (obviously), but sometimes several similar cards will come up - this means that there is an underlying message to be 'hammered home'.

Oracle Cards:

Oracle decks are (usually) made up of 44 cards, each of which have a specific message to give guidance and comfort for the querant.  The cards are generally based on Angels, Godesses or mythical creatures and are a wonderful way of geeting on touch with you angels and to recieve thier messages directly.  Oracle cards are (in my experience) very positive and uplifting cards and are therefore very suitable for people who may feel worried or nervous about Tarot card readings.
